A teenager run over by a quad bike has been airlifted to hospital in Hawke's Bay this afternoon.
The Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter was called to a rural Kereru address at midday to airlift the teenage boy after he sustained injuries in the incident.
St John Intensive Care Paramedics attended him to at the scene, prior to being flown to Hawke's Bay Hospital.
A Hawke's Bay Hospital spokesperson said the boy was discharged this afternoon.
