Police say a teenager missing for two weeks may be hiding and they are worried for her.
Tauranga police have asked for the public's help to find Elisha Jade Smith, 16, who went missing on Tuesday, September 1.
She was still missing this evening, Tauranga police said.
Police appealed to anyone with possibly helpful information to phone Tauranga police on (07) 577 4300.
Information could also be provided anonymously to the Crimestoppers organisation on 0800 555 111.
