The colleagues of a teenager who died in a single vehicle crash in Aoraki Mt Cook National Park early this morning say she will be "truly missed".
Police said emergency services were called to the scene of the single vehicle crash on Tasman Valley Rd at 2.06am.
Senior Constable Les Andrew said there were three women in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
It was believed the car they were travelling in, a black Toyota hatchback, left the road at a slight bend and then rolled.
He said it was possible the driver was distracted, or tired, at the time of the crash.
