A teenager charged with assaulting a homeless man in the Auckland CBD appeared in court this morning.
The 17-year-old is facing one charge of wounding Edwin Linder with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Mr Linder, 42, was found with severe head injuries in Mills Lane in Auckland's CBD last Wednesday. He died in hospital on Saturday.
Pending results of a post-mortem examination today further more serious charges could be laid.
