KEY POINTS:
An 18-year-old Motueka man was arrested today and charged with rape and drug offences.
Senior Sergeant Grant Andrews of Motueka police said the man's alleged offending occurred over the last couple of months.
He was charged with two counts of rape, one charge of attempted sexual violation, one of abduction and two cannabis charges.
Mr Andrews said the man's three alleged victims were known to him and police were seeking no one else in relation to the inquiry.
He is due to appear in Nelson District Court tomorrow morning and Mr Andrews said police would oppose bail.
