A 17-year-old youth will appear in Auckland District Court tomorrow morning charged with the brutal assault of a homeless man in the city's CBD on Wednesday.
The teenager was identified after police released security footage taken in the area near where the injured man was found in Mills Lane.
The 42-year-old victim is still in a critical condition in Auckland City Hospital. His injuries are life-threatening and it is understood his family have been with him.
