Within hours of being released on bail a Masterton teenager was back in police custody for breaching her bail conditions.
Te Uira Mauesha Shayne Paewai, 17, appeared before Judge Peter Hobbs in the Masterton District Court last Monday on charges of burglary, assault and using threatening language. She was remanded on bail with a curfew.
That night she was arrested for breaching her bail conditions by not adhering to the court-imposed curfew.
She was back before the judge on Tuesday after a night in custody.
Judge Hobbs warned Paewai if she didn't comply she'd find herself behind bars.
