A 14-year-old girl has been arrested over the armed robbery of a Rotorua service station.
Police said an offender, armed with a weapon, walked into the Caltex station on Amohau St and demanded cash from the sole attendant about 9pm on Friday.
A Rotorua teenager was arrested arrested last night after a person fitting the description of the Caltex offender threatened staff at a Rotorua liquor store.
The teen left the liquor store empty-handed and she was arrested nearby a short time later.
Police today said a 14-year-old girl had been charged in relation to the Caltex robbery. She was also charged with making demands with menace in relation to the liquor store incident.
