A 16-year-old boy was airlifted to Nelson Hospital this afternoon after falling and seriously injuring his leg while motorcross riding.
The teen was riding at a track south of Wakefield.
He was assessed on site by a Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter paramedic before being airlifted to hospital in a stable condition.
