A Tauranga teenager has admitted her role in the use of firearms against police during a 150km chase which ended with her partner being shot at Waihi.
At a depositions hearing in Tauranga District Court yesterday, Yana Poata, 18, pleaded guilty to seven charges of using a firearm against police.
She was remanded in custody for sentencing on July 24. The charge carries a maximum 14 years' jail.
