A Rotorua teenager has pleaded guilty to unlawful sexual connection and theft of a handbag.
Hipirini Mead, 17, appeared before Judge James Weir in the Rotorua District Court today.
A charge of rape was dropped and Mead entered a guilty plea to unlawful sexual connection and theft through his lawyer Max Simpkins.
The offending occurred on March 9.
Mead was remanded in custody and will be sentenced on June 14.
