The Featherston Golf Club had success against Masterton in the Marquis Shield round at Eketahuna last Sunday.
Playing in brilliant weather, the team were successful 4 to 0 in single and fourball play with the final score being 8 to 3.
The day before in interclub competition against Masterton, the seventh division lost 10 to 5 and the 11th division also lost 14 to 1.
The only player to stand tall for the 11th division was Patrick Melaugh, who then won his match on Sunday.
The Sunday before the club sent up a team to play in the Wairarapa teams event at Eketahuna and came in third. Once again the Eketahuna club conquered all before them to win.
The women's silver pennants team played against Royal Wellington at Judgeford and recorded a 3 to 2 win. Great work, ladies.
The women's Tilson Salver team played against Masterton at Masterton and had to settle for a 4 to 2 loss.
Women's Tuesday competition: A small field braved the wind to play LGU and Putting. Winner was Barbara Thompson with 30 putts.
The week before was a Stableford round, the winner was Julie Dondertman 42 points, second Julie Murray 39 and Roz Harding was delighted to chip in for a two on the 15th hole.

The women are playing in the Riverside Cup against Martinborough at Eketahuna on Friday.
This Saturday in men's interclub, the seventh division are playing away to Boulcotts Farm and the 11th division are playing at home again Kapiti. The women's silver pennants team are playing against Waikanae at Mahunga.
The final word is to catch the weather for a day of golf and enjoy it and have fun.
