A Far North teacher who abused young boys will make another appearance in court today.
James Parker, the former deputy principal of Pamapuria School, is to appear in Kaitaia District Court on 72 charges.
Parker has admitted 49 charges, but has yet to plead on a further 23 which have come about after more children came forward.
Today's court appearance will also comprise of a sentence indication hearing.
A pre-sentence report has previously recommended handing the case up to the High Court, which has the power to impose a sentence of preventive detention.
