KEY POINTS:
The Red Fox Tavern at Maramarua, in Waikato, was robbed early this morning.
Senior Sergeant Pete Simpson said the tavern owner and several staff were present after the bar closed when three offenders entered and demanded cash. They took an undisclosed amount.
Police were investigating.
