Tauranga police are hunting a third man in relation to two aggravated robberies in Bay of Plenty last month.
Police arrested two people after the Mobil service station in Waihi and the Park Road Dairy in Katikati were robbed within a half-hour period on the morning of June 18.
The robberies took place on the same day that Paeroa pizza shop owner Jordan Voudouris was shot dead, but police have ruled out a link to his death, which they have have described as a "whodunit mystery".
Police today said they had issued a warrant for the arrest of Rastaman Rapatini, 19, in relation to the robberies.
Detective Sergeant Alan Kingsbury of Tauranga police said Rapatini, commonly known as Rusty, has family connections in the Mangakino, Te Aroha and Rotorua areas.
