Tauranga police have arrested and charged a 21-year-old forestry worker for manslaughter.
The arrest arises from an incident on Sunday 8th January 2012 at the Lakes in Tauranga in which a cyclist David Armstrong died after being hit by a motor vehicle.
The arrested male will appear in the Tauranga District Court this morning.
