A blind woman has been assaulted while travelling with her guide dog on a Tauranga bus.
Constable Adam Ramsay says the woman was trying to position her guide dog out of the way, when a female passenger started abusing her, before delivering a blow to her temple.
Police are looking help as they investigate assault. It happened on the Bay Hopper Bus, which was heading for Greerton on June 25, just before five thirty.
Mr Ramsay says police are looking for a female in her late teens or early 20s, possibly with blonde hair, who got off the bus by the Merivale Shops.
