KEY POINTS:
A large amount of pseudoephedrine, the key component in making "P", was stolen from a Taupo pharmacy early on Saturday.
Detective Steve Lockett said Wedekinds Pharmacy was burgled about 2.30am and police wanted to hear from anyone would saw anything.
Police believed those responsible for the burglary used a stolen blue 1998 Landrover Discovery, registration CKE423. The vehicle was seen in central Taupo just before the burglary.
