A resource consent hearing for a 104-turbine wind farm at the northern end of the Tararua Ranges begins today.
The three-day hearing will listen to 71 submissions - 38 against, 27 for, and six that don't specify for or against.
Te Rere Hau Wind Farm will be on 243ha at the north end of the Tararua Ranges, about 2km north of the Pahiatua Track on North Range Road.
