A Tararua man has been charged with setting fire to a Masterton child support service building.
Tristan Larry Ian Mcnabb, a 35-year-old technician, appeared in Masterton District Court on Thursday facing two charges of arson, two charges of breaching a protection order and one charge of assault.
Police allege on July 12, Mcnabb set fire to the front door of the Open Home Foundation, a Christian-based child support service which provides social work and foster care services to families in need of support.
On September 13 police allege Mcnabb set fire to a vehicle, belonging to the foundation.
