John Tamihere may be getting a forum to air his views on a permanent basis.
The new Auckland-based radio station, Radio Live, which goes to air on Monday, is promoting that Mr Tamihere will have a regular programme slot on Sundays from 10am - 1pm.
A statement from Radio Live spokesperson Andi Brotherston says "the weekend programming is quite different than (sic) traditional commercial content, which often involves endless hours of sport.
"The subjects and hosts change every few hours and many of the presenters are high profile and well regarded in their field of expertise."
Mr Tamihere certainly qualifies for the "high profile" tag, following his outspoken comments in Investigate magazine this month, and the repercussions that followed.
Other elements of the radio station's weekend line-up are somewhat less controversial, with programme listings including a gardening and kitchen show, talkback, sport and music.
