Suspended Cabinet minister John Tamihere and Waipareira Trust board members met yesterday in a reconciliation bid, though deputy chair Naida Glavich refused to attend.
The board met last night and was expected to refer a report by Paragon Risk to the Serious Fraud Office.
The report highlights concerns over $100,000 of invoices approved by Mike Tolich in the final days of Mr Tamihere's tenure as chief executive.
Mr Tamihere has not yet met Prime Minister Helen Clark since she returned from India but they are understood to be in daily telephone contact.
