Taiwan is seeking closer co-operation with New Zealand to stop drug trafficking between the two countries.
Taiwan is now the top country of origin for P imports, ahead of China, South Africa and Japan, say Customs officials.
Chiyi Chiou, of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office, said Taiwan would seek greater "information sharing and mutual co-operation" to find ways to stop drug trafficking.
