Two teenage boys caught tagging in Wellington will be joining the Council's anti-graffiti crew.
The youths were caught vandalising property in the CBD and one of the consequences is for them to help paint over graffiti.
Operations manager Mike Mendonca says the council always enthusiastically takes 'volunteers' sent by the police.
He says it means the council's usual graffiti guys can take a bit of a breather and concentrate on coaching the clean up crews.
Mr Mendonca says they like providing feedback to vandals as they help them to clean up their mess.
