Wairarapa Times-Age operations manager and designer Bevan Wills has been named a finalist in the Pacific Area Newspaper Publishers' Association (PANPA) Advertising and Marketing Awards for his innovative front pages and advertising creations.
The awards from mid-2014 to mid-2015, cover the best of the best across Australia and New Zealand's media outlets.
Mr Wills was a finalist at the latest Canon Media Awards, winning a Highly Commended in the front page design category, against the NZ Herald and Herald on Sunday.
His work on the 2014 Election Special won him the NZME Regional Newspapers Front Page of the Year award.
The PANPA awards winners will be announced in December.
