ROTORUA - A Rotorua man wanted in connection with a Sydney murder investigation has now indicated he will consent to being extradited to Australia, a court was told today.
Clinton Dion Mokomoko, 35, appeared in Rotorua District Court today for an extradition hearing.
However, Jonothan Briscoe, for Mokomoko, said he had spoken to him since last week and Mokomoko had indicated he would consent to being extradited to Australia.
Mokomoko is wanted by Australian police in connection with the murder of Josef Maskiewicz of Castle Hill, in Sydney's north-west last month. The hearing was adjourned until tomorrow.
