Sweet nothings writ large

Twelve heartfelt messages - including two marriage proposals and a request for one - will be unveiled this morning on billboards around the country.

Thousands of messages were submitted for a campaign by shopping centre Westfield, which gave Kiwis the chance to capture their Valentine with an eye-catching message of love.

Messages from 12 winners of the Sweet Nothings Valentine's Day campaign now feature on billboards in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington and Christchurch.

"Our Sweet Nothings campaign has literally put love in the air," said Linda Trainer, General Manager Westfield New Zealand Shopping Centres.
