A swan paddleboat floated into the Queen Elizabeth Park Lake this weekend, photographer Chris Kilford was there to check out the new addition.
Masterton mayor Lyn Patterson officially welcomed the paddleboat to the park, cutting a ribbon, and was joined by councillor Gary Caffell for a quick trip around the lake.
The swan joins a fleet of four other paddleboats, as part of a business run by Peter and Colleen Douglas.
Mrs Douglas said she thought the swan paddleboat was a one of a kind for New Zealand.
"We don't know of any others in New Zealand but they've got a lot overseas.
