Emergency services are attending a suspicious house fire in Christchurch.
Fire broke out at an unoccupied house in is the suburb of Clifton just after 2am.
Four fire appliances were sent to the scene and an investigation was due to be launched later today.
Crews were still at the scene dampening down the fire at 6am.
