Save A blaze that ripped through a holiday home in Turangi overnight is being treated as suspicious.
Firefighters were called to Puataata Rd property in the town about 2.30am, a Fire Service spokeswoman said.
"It's a three-bedroom house that looks as though it's used as a holiday house.
"It appears to
have been empty at the time. It's being treated as suspicious."
The house was well ablaze when fire crews arrived.
