Police are still investigating the suspicious death of a 49 year-old Waikato man.
The man died at a house in Meremere yesterday.
Forensic specialists were still at the scene today and police were talking to witnesses, including the man's friends, neighbours and family members.
Acting Detective Inspector Mark Greene said a post-mortem examination would be carried out later today. The results were expected to help determine how the investigation should proceed.
