KEY POINTS:
Police are interviewing the occupants of a central Queenstown house suspected of being used as a drugs laboratory.
No arrests had yet been made after the discovery of chemicals and items used to make methamphetamine, or P, at the property when a search warrant was executed on Monday, acting Detective Sergeant Grant Miller, of Queenstown police, said today.
The police national clandestine laboratory team travelled from Auckland to make a forensic examination at the property yesterday and a number of items were seized and sent for analysis.
"The investigation is continuing and the occupants of the address are assisting police with that investigation," Mr Miller said.
Charges were likely pending the result of tests on the items seized.
