No fresh clues have turned up overnight in the search for a young woman believed to have been involved in a car crash on Christchurch's Port Hills.
A car belonging to Emma Campbell, 28, of Christchurch, was found over a bank near Dyers Pass Road early yesterday morning, Inspector Alan Weston said yesterday.
The time of the crash was unknown, but it appeared to have happened since late Friday afternoon.
Ms Campbell had not been found despite efforts by police search and rescue and her family yesterday.
A "huge" area of the Port Hills had been searched, Mr Weston said.
Police southern communications Inspector Tony Ellis said this morning there had been no information from the public overnight.
It was hoped once people woke and read the news today, police may receive some new information, he said.
