The identity of an Auckland man accused of murdering a baby girl will be suppressed for at least another two months.
The 24-year-old appeared in the High Court at Auckland this morning after the 5-month-old child died in Pukekohe less than two weeks ago.
She suffered a fractured skull and a broken leg.
The man charged with her murder was known to her, police confirmed.
Justice Lang initially indicated he was not convinced to continue name suppression for the defendant.
