Support staff worry

The Public Service Association and Healthcare of New Zealand say thousands of low-paid front-line home support workers will suffer with cuts to the reimbursement they're now entitled to when driving more than 20km to assist an ACC claimant.

ACC funding changes mean they will pay for the first 20km of a round trip themselves and be reimbursed for any kilometres above that.
