SUPPLY CHAIN COORDINATOR / PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN
Kings Seeds is a household name in the NZ seed industry and has been supplying both commercial and home gardeners with the best quality herb, flower and vegetable seed for nearly 40 years. A NZ owned and operated business located in the Western Bay of Plenty, Kings Seeds has a fabulous bunch behind it and, with continued expansion, is looking for one more to join the dedicated team!
This is a new role for our business and you will be working in the Production side of the business focusing on supply chain management but also supporting the production team to get the product out to our customers.
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn everything there is to know about the seed industry whilst working for a successful and well reputed company. There are significant promotion opportunities available with an exciting long term career path for the right individual.
We are looking for someone who either holds a qualification in Supply Chain or Logistics Management, or has gained relevant experience in their past employment. You will have a high level of computer skills and be able to communicate effectively both written and orally. Our seed sacks weigh up to 25kg so you need to be physically strong.
A sense of humour is essential along with the ability to build great relationships with our customers and suppliers, face to face and over the phone.
