Trains are back up and running ahead of the Super Rugby final at Eden Park tonight.
Auckland Transport this afternoon tweeted that there were cancellations to rail services on the southern and eastern lines because of the tornado that ripped through Papakura this morning and advised fans to make other plans.
"We are working hard to provide additional services for customers travelling to the Super Rugby final at Eden Park this evening, however this is unable to be confirmed at the moment and it is advised to make alternative transport plans for your journey to the game," Auckland Transport said shortly after 4pm.
Just before 6pm Auckland Transport updated its advice saying southern and eastern lines were running back to timetable and additional services were operating to get punters to and from the rugby game.
