Auckland's first Sunday trains in more than 40 years will start tomorrow. And passenger rail services ran past midnight for the first time last night. Midnight trains will run again tonight as part of a new timetable which began on Tuesday and offers 25 per cent more rail services.
Rail operator Connex says it has improved punctuality under the timetable to the point that most complaints are about people missing trains which are arriving on time.
