Redundant workers from Oamaru's Summit Wool Spinners have a little more certainty about their entitlements.
Unions and the company have been in talks and say workers will receive redundancy payments as per their existing collective employment agreements.
The company is due to close at the end of this month.
Workers leaving before then will still be entitled to compensation and those staying until the last day will receive a thousand-dollar payment.
