A suburban house is on fire in this afternoon and emergency services are at the scene.
The blaze in Weatherly Road in the Auckland suburb of Torbay was reported to the Fire Service just after 12.30pm. Northern Police Communications Inspector Willie Taylor said the house was on fire and police were helping firefighters in the North Shore suburb.

"There was an original concern that there were still people inside the house but that's not the case. All people are accounted for."
Mr Taylor said it was not yet known if the fire was deliberately lit.
