A suspicious substance which led to the Army being called out in Canterbury turned out to be cake mix.
The yellow substance, dumped in a trail about 80m long, was found in Styx Mill Reserve, north of Christchurch on Friday morning.
The Army was called in to identify the substance which had police and firefighters puzzled.
