New Zealand will give Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles a gift of native trees and plants for their April 8 wedding.
Prime Minister Helen Clark said one of the prince's many gardens was a Southern Hemisphere garden.
New Zealand officials had been advised by Clarence House, on behalf of Charles, that the gift would be welcome. She said the High Commission in London was consulting British importers to find plants that could survive Britain's climate.
