Two students facing multiple drug charges have been remanded without plea until next year.
Neither man appeared in the Dunedin District Court today, one being granted a registrar's adjournment, the other having his case remanded at the request of counsel.
The 25-year-old, whose case was adjourned by a registrar, was facing 13 new charges in addition to the initial charges of importing and supplying the class B drug MDMA.
The new charges are nine of importing MDMA; two of importing a psychoactive substance (251-NBOME); one of possessing the substance with intent to sell; and one of possessing the class A drug cocaine.
The second defendant, 24-year-old Jakan Baigent McConnell, of Hamilton, faced two new charges, one of supplying the class B drug ecstasy and one of selling cannabis.
