The Science Roadshow shared the wonders of technology and science with students from throughout Masterton at Chanel College yesterday.
Manager Andrew Beale said the roadshow visits schools at more than 100 cities, towns and settlements across New Zealand during its annual nationwide trek, blending demonstrations, classroom resources and interactive exhibits to help ignite students' interest in the sciences.
The roadshow explored a range of themes, including astronomy and the turbulence of planetary forces, the physics of force using a rotating chair, light and sight using an anaglyph - which is a type of 3D image created from two photographs taken slightly offset - chemistry, applied science and the capabilities of science.
