Students charged with kidnapping

Three Nelson College students are facing charges of kidnap and assault relating to another student.

The 16-year-old victim was attacked last Thursday evening and received extensive bruising to his head and body from repeated punches and kicks.

Police said two 16-year-old students had been charged with kidnapping and injuring with intent to cause grievous bodily harm while a 17-year-old had been charged with kidnapping.

Police were not looking for anyone else but were keen to hear from anyone with information.
