Three Wairarapa College students accused of trying to set fire to their school have appeared in court for a second time.
Sean Roy Te Kaewa Robinson, Kyle Wiremu Morris and Cameron Peter Strachen Greig, all 17, face charges of arson and of unlawfully entering the school grounds following an incident at the college on October 9.
Appearing together in the dock at Masterton District Court today, the trio were remanded without plea until October 28.
The three are accused of using petrol and paper to set alight a large bin positioned near a wooden gym block at the Masterton college.
Police prosecutor Senior Sergeant Gary Wilson said diversion had been "considered but declined" for the defendants.
