A Year 13 student spent her school holiday spray-painting a mural on the hoardings of the Auckland Central City Library on Lorne St.
Inspired by street artists Banksy and New Zealander Component, Gabriella Lidstone White was given free rein to create a giant masterpiece on the library on Tuesday.
The ACG Senior College student bases her artwork around utopias, dystopias and the roles cities can play in a sustainable or unsustainable future. The young student spent most of the day leaving her mark.
The large scale mural will form part of Lidstone White's final submission for her Cambridge curriculum Graphic Design A-levels.
