Student fees at University of Auckland going up

Student fees at the University of Auckland will go up an average 3.9 per cent next year as the institution moves to plug gaps it says are being left by the Government.

The university council approved increases at undergraduate level ranging up to 5 per cent. The rise for postgraduate programmes will be 7.7 per cent.
