A Makoura College old boy is returning to the Masterton school on Monday as an inspirational speaker and member of the 2014 Sir Peter Blake Dream Team.
Philip Kelly, an internationally successful graphic designer, is one of 300 Dream Team members led by New Zealand Governor-General Sir Jerry Mateparae, who will speak in classsrooms throughout New Zealand "in a bid to inspire young Kiwis to make it happen", says Sir Peter Blake Trust CEO Shelley Campbell.
"Philip Kelly will share his thoughts on his own journey to becoming a graphic designer with an international career, as well as the motivation and drive to make those dreams happen."
Make it Happen is the theme of this year's Sir Peter Blake Leadership Week, which begins tomorrow at the Trust's annual Leadership Awards. Leadership Week concludes with Red Socks Day on July 4.
