Workers who took part in strike action at an Auckland recycling plant have this morning returned to work following an agreement between the company and the National Distribution Union.
The processing workers at Penrose Paper Reclaim were on strike for 10 days calling for a $1 pay increase.
A joint statement by the company and the union says an agreement was reached following mediation yesterday, the terms of which were confidential.
An inspection confirmed that any potential rodent problem - as the union had claimed - was well managed.
Plant operations had not been affected by the strike, the statement said.
